Every autofill run in SiftHub — whether triggered from the Browser Extension, MS Add-in, Web App, or a Project — is automatically logged and accessible in two places:
- The Autofill page in the SiftHub Web App (left panel activity list)
- The Autofill tab in the SiftHub Browser Extension (previously called the Activity Center)
Both surfaces show the same activities and stay in sync.

What Each Activity Shows
Each activity card displays:
- Document name and file type icon
- Answered — number of questions successfully autofilled
- No information found — number of questions where SiftHub could not find an answer
- Status — In progress, Completed, or Cancelled
- Timestamp — time the autofill was run, displayed in your local timezone
For Cancelled activities, the card also shows how many questions were answered before the run was stopped.
Activity Statuses
- In progress — autofill is currently running. A progress bar indicates percentage of questions answered. If in early stages, the card will show "Parsing text…" or "Auto-detecting questions…"
- Completed — autofill finished successfully
- Cancelled — autofill was stopped before completing, either manually or due to an error
- Queued — if more than 5 autofill runs are submitted simultaneously, additional runs are queued until a slot opens
Opening an Activity
Click any activity card to open it. What happens depends on where the autofill was originally run:
| Source | What opens |
|---|---|
| Web App upload | Table view in the Web App right panel |
| Google Sheets / Docs (Browser Extension) | Summary with "View in Google Sheets/Docs" button |
| MS Excel / Word (MS Add-in) | Summary with link to the document |
| Project autofill | Summary with "Go to Project" button |
| Vendor Portal | Summary with "Open" button linking to the portal |
Saving to Repository
For autofill runs completed via the Browser Extension or MS Add-in, a Save button appears on the activity card in the Browser Extension Autofill tab. Click Save to add the completed document to your SiftHub Documents Repository, making it available as a source for future answer generation.
If the document has already been saved, you will be given the option to replace the existing version or keep both.
It is recommended to only save fully completed and approved documents to ensure accuracy.
Cancelling an In-Progress Activity
To cancel an autofill that is currently running, click on the activity card and select cancel. A confirmation modal will appear. Any questions answered before cancellation are retained; unanswered questions are left blank.
Starting a New Autofill
