SiftHub's AI Teammate connects to your organization's knowledge sources to help sales teams access valuable insights that would otherwise remain scattered across various platforms (CRM, Zoom, Gong, Slack, Drive, SharePoint, email).
When internal knowledge isn't sufficient, it can also search the web for up-to-date information. This feature enables you to craft targeted narratives for solutions, demos, objection handling, and discovery calls with the most relevant and current information.
Accessing AI Teammate
- Log in to your SiftHub account
- Go to the AI Teammate section from the left navigation panel
- You'll see the conversation interface where you can begin interacting with the Sales AI Teammate
Key Components
Conversation Interface
- Free-text queries: Enter prompts ranging from quick product clarifications to strategic sales approaches.
- Sales Use Cases: Access specialized tiles for high-frequency tasks like RFP checklists or call performance scoring. SiftHub's use cases tiles are highly configurable. You can define what use cases you want to see, pin your most frequently used ones on top, and also define the template of the output for any of the tiles
- Step-by-step reasoning: View how the AI arrived at its conclusion through connected citations.
- Follow-up questions: Ask further questions to dig deeper while the AI retains the context of the current thread.
Conversation History
The left sidebar allows you to organize and retrieve your research:
- My conversations: View a list of past conversations you initiated in descending chronological order.
- Shared with me: Access conversations that teammates have shared with you for collaboration or review. You 'View only' access to these articles and can make a copy of them to continue the conversation
- Search and Filter: Use the search bar to find past conversations by keyword, or click the Filter icon to narrow history by date.
- Make a Copy: If you are viewing a shared thread in View only mode, click Make a copy at the bottom of the screen to create an editable version you can continue to prompt.
Scope of knowledge
Atleast one scope of knowledge (Connected Sources, Attached file(s) or Web) must be enabled for AI Teammate to generate responses.
Connected sources
- Enabled by default. Click the Sources button to select specific apps (HubSpot, Google Drive, Notion, etc.) or specific Collections (e.g., "Food vertical") to ground the AI's response.
Attached file(s)
- Click the Attach button to upload up to 10 files (max 25MB each) such as transcripts or meeting notes. Attached files are only used within that specific conversation and are not saved to the Repository.
Web search
- Toggle the Web tile on and enable SiftHub to selectively search for required information from external webpages and get relevant web links from authoritative sources
- Web search is only triggered when the available information in your connected sources or attached files is deemed insufficient to address the scope of your query
- Perfect for prospect/deal research, competitive analysis, industry benchmarks, technical comparisons, and market trends
- Click on External References tile at the bottom of the generated response to view a list of relevant web links fetched for that query
- Provide specific URLs to be scanned in your input even when web search is disabled. SiftHub only scrapes the links provided and does not retrieve information from other web pages. This generates responses with a focused scope of knowledge in addition to your connected sources.
Sales Use Cases (Intents) Selection
Intents are specialized, highly configurable workflows that replicate how top teams approach repetitive tasks. SiftHub allows you to tailor these intents to match your organization's specific sales methodology and reporting standards.
Pre-defined intents:
| Use Case Tile | Description |
|---|---|
| Sales to Post-sales Handover | Assemble goals, stakeholders, risks, and next steps for a clean CS kickoff. |
| Analyze RFP for Bid/no-Bid | Make informed decisions about pursuing incoming RFPs. |
| Create Competitor Battlecard | Highlight key competitive advantages against specific rivals. |
| Create RFP Checklist | Identify required documents and steps for a complete RFP submission. |
| Craft Solution Narratives | Tailor solutions to target prospect pain points discussed in prior calls. |
| Craft POV Success Criteria | Define key measures to validate Proof of Value (POV) success. |
| Autofill Proposals | Generate tailored proposals and questionnaires in minutes. |
| Identify Pain Points | Extract core customer challenges from call recordings or transcripts. |
| Score Call Performance | Get framework-based insights and talk tracks to improve conversations. |
| Qualify Prospect | Rate pipeline deals for a match with your Ideal Customer Profile (ICP). |
| Draft Statement of Work | Assemble contract-ready SOWs with scope, milestones, and criteria. |
Configurability
Define Visible Intents: Admins can choose which use case tiles are available to the team, ensuring the interface remains focused on your most relevant sales activities.
Pinned Use Cases: You can pin your most frequently used intent tiles to the top of the interface for immediate access.
Custom Output Templates: For every intent tile, you can define a specific output template, ensuring the AI-generated responses (e.g., a SOW or Handover summary) always follow your company’s required format, tone, and depth.
