AI Teammate in the Browser Extension

The SiftHub Browser Extension brings the full power of the AI Teammate directly into your daily workspace, allowing you to access organizational insights without leaving your browser, CRM, or email client. It offers all the same robust features as the web app while collaborating with you in real-time within your sales ecosystem.

Shared Features with the Web App

The following features are identical across both interfaces:

  • Conversation Interface: Includes free-text queries, follow-up capabilities, and configurable Sales Use Case tiles (Intents).

  • Conversation History: Full access to My conversations and Shared with me threads, including search and date filtering.

  • Source Selection: Granular control over Connected Sources, Collections, Attached files, and Web search.

  • Configurability: All pinned tiles and custom output templates defined in the web app are automatically synced to the extension.

 

Extra Unique Capabilities of the Extension

The browser extension offers unique features designed for real-time collaboration with your active documents and emails.

"Work with" (@) Context

Identified by the @ icon in the input bar, this component allows the AI to interact directly with the content in your active browser window.

  • Gmail Integration: When a Gmail compose or reply window is active, the AI identifies the email context to help draft personalized, knowledge-grounded outreach.

  • Slides Collateral Builder: When a Google Slide presentation is open, this mode enables the AI to generate content and narratives tailored to your specific slides.

  • Future Expansion: This capability is designed to grow, with future updates planned to bring "Work with" context to CRMs and other browser tabs.

Edit Mode

The extension includes an Edit mode toggle that changes how the AI delivers its suggestions. This mode is always available and highly recommended when the "Work with" (@) feature is enabled for Gmail or Google Slides.

  • When Toggled On:

    • In Slides: The AI generates output designed to apply directly to your current or all slides, maintaining your formatting and structure. It provides "Apply" buttons to instantly update your deck.

    • In Gmail: The AI generates a refined email draft that can be readily inserted into the Gmail input box via an "Insert" button.

  • When Toggled Off: The AI generates standard conversational responses for consumption and research, similar to the web app interface, without the "Apply" or "Insert" functionality.

 

Workspace Integration & Best Practices

  • Contextual Research: Use the extension to analyze deal data or prospect profiles while keeping the AI Teammate open in the sidebar for immediate insights.

  • Seamless Transitions: Start a research thread in the extension and pick it up later in the web app (or vice versa) without losing history.

  • Verify Citations: Review the Connected Source cards within the extension to validate AI claims against your original documents before applying or inserting content.
