The Conversations tab provides a detailed audit trail of all interactions with the AI Teammate and integrated Chat Bots (Slack, Microsoft Teams). These logs allow you to monitor how your team is engaging with company knowledge to generate sales content, analyze calls, or perform discovery research.
Key Numbers
At the top of the Conversations tab, you can track real-time engagement metrics for your selected date range:
Total Conversations: The cumulative number of unique chat threads started by your team.
Average response time per turn: The median time the AI takes to respond to a user's prompt within a conversation.
Transactions consumed: The total number of credits used for conversational AI activity during the selected period.
Understanding the Conversations Log Table
The table displays metadata for every conversational thread:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Conversations | The title of the chat. Clicking on a conversation name will automatically open that specific thread in the AI Teammate interface for full review. (Note: If you don't have access to that chat, you will get an Access Denied page) |
| Date | A timestamp of the most recent activity in that conversation. |
| No. of turns | The total number of back-and-forth exchanges between the user and the AI. |
| User | The user who initiated or is participating in the conversation. |
| Response time per turn | The average time it took for the AI to generate answers across all turns in that specific thread. |
| Initiated from | Identifies the tool used to start the conversation (e.g., AI Teammate, Slack Bot, Teams Bot, or Google Chat Bot) |
| Transactions consumed | The specific transactions used for that entire conversation thread. |
Reviewing Conversations
By clicking into a conversation from the log, you can view the conversation in AI Teammate on the web:
Audit AI Reasoning: See exactly how the AI structured its response and which specific sources (e.g., Zoom recordings, Zendesk articles, or uploaded documents) it cited to ground its answer.
Analyze User Intent: Review the follow-up questions your team is asking to identify common knowledge gaps or successful sales strategies.
Share Insights: Admins can use the Share button within a reviewed conversation to distribute high-quality AI insights to other team members.
