When searching for information to answer a question, SiftHub sometimes encounters relevant content across multiple documents of varying recency, that may contain the same or conflicting information. To tackle this, SiftHub generates multiple versions of the answer, and ranks them based on a host of factors including relevance and recency of the sources, instruction prompts applied, stylization and user feedback history.
Answer options
You can view up to 4 Answer versions generated by SiftHub from the dropdown in the response section of the Browser Extension, and choose the option that you deem best suited to answer the query while fulfilling your instructions.
The dropdown contains the options list as - "Generated answer 1", "Generated answer 2", "Generated answer 3"... Each option may be generated from one or more sources, but no 2 options will have the same set of sources.
The dropdown to view other answer options becomes available after the first best version is fully generated. You can view each option, and save to Q&A Repository for future reference and use.
Matched Q&A
When a user query resembles one or more Q&A pairs that are saved in your Q&A Repository, SiftHub surfaces those matched Q&As along with the generated answers. Users can then copy and use that matched Q&A directly instead of the Generated Answer, if they wish to maintain the exact language of the Q&A in their response.
On generating an answer in the Answer section of the Browser Extension, click on “View Matched Q&As” to see the list of the detected Q&A matches for your query. If no Q&As were matched, the you will see "No matched Q&As".
Click on any of the Q&As to expand the answer content and 'Copy' the answer.
