This article explains how to manage teams in SiftHub.
Viewing Team Details
- Go to Settings > Teams.
- Click on the name of the team you want to view or manage.
- By default, you'll be on the teams "Details" tab.
On the "Details" tab, you can view the following information- Team Name
- Status
- Description
- Owner
- Created Date
- Last Modified Date
- Last Modified by
To edit team details:
- Simply click on the field to modify
- You can edit details such as the Team Name or Description.
- Click the "Save" button to apply your changes.
Managing Users in a Team
From the team's page, click on the "Users" tab to view or manage the members of the selected team
Adding Users
To add new users to the team:
- Click the "Add Users" button.
- A Modal will appear with a list of available users.
- Select the users you want to add and click "Add".
Removing Users
To remove users from a team:
- Select the checkboxes next to the names of the users you want to remove.
- Click the "Remove user" button that appears along with selected user counts
Deactivating Teams
To deactivate a team:
- From the "Team Details" page, click the "Deactivate" button in the top right corner.
- A confirmation pop-up will appear.
- Click "Deactivate" to confirm. This action will change the team's status to "Inactive".
Reactivating Teams
To reactivate a team:
- Click on the name of the team you want to reactivate.
- In the "Team Details" page, click the "Reactivate" button. The team's status will be changed back to "Active".
Additional Notes
- Only Account Owners and Security Admins have permission to manage users.
- When creating a new user, there is an option to assign them to one or more teams. The "Default" team is assigned by default.
- Teams can be assigned as a collaborators for Projects (collaborators only, not owners/reviewers/delivery managers), and Collections.
- Deactivated teams will still appear in assignments but in a deactivated state. Users from deactivated teams will not automatically remain collaborators and will need to be explicitly re-added.
- Reactivated teams will retain all prior assignments unless they were explicitly removed during deactivation.
