GTM Buddy Connector

With our new GTM Buddy integration, SiftHub's GTM Buddy Connector seamlessly integrates your entire enablement library into the SiftHub Platform. This transforms every playbook, battlecard, and deal-specific asset in your library into a dynamic knowledge source, allowing you to effortlessly search and get AI-generated answers for AI Teammate conversations and intelligent content generation. Beyond simple retrieval, this connection empowers you to auto-refresh old battlecards so your content never goes stale, and easily pull similar deal examples and win-loss narratives on-demand to strengthen your pitch, ensuring valuable insights and collateral are always discoverable and leveraged for AI-powered responses.

 

What Gets Connected

SiftHub ensures you maintain complete control over what content gets indexed. You can selectively connect:

  • Specific Folders: Index content from individual folders within your GTM Buddy library.

This way, SiftHub only reads and indexes the content from folders you explicitly allow it to access.

 

Supported Content

SiftHub indexes the following content formats from your connected GTM Buddy folders:

  • Microsoft Word documents (.doc, .docx), PowerPoint presentations (.ppt, .pptx), Excel spreadsheets (.xls, .xlsx)
  • PDF files (.pdf)
  • CSV files (.csv)
  • Text files (.txt)

Note: Files under 1 GB in size will be indexed.

 

How It Works

Once connected, SiftHub:

  • Indexes messages and attachments from selected channels.
  • Syncs content updates regularly (typically every 24 hours) to capture any changes.
  • Maintains any native GTM Buddy permissions.
  • Makes the content searchable and available for AI-generated answers within the SiftHub Platform.

 

Access Control

SiftHub respects your chosen access control settings for GTM Buddy content:

  • Open Access: All SiftHub users in your organization can view and access content from the connected GTM Buddy folders. This simplifies sharing knowledge across your team.

 

Using GTM Buddy Content in SiftHub

Your connected GTM Buddy content appears in:

  • Search results with relevant snippets and metadata.
  • AI-generated Answers and document Autofill as verified sources.
  • Dynamic battlecard creation and craft targeted narratives for solutions, demos, objection handling, discovery calls and more with AI Teammate.

Note: Clicking any result opens the original file or content within GTM Buddy.

 

Content Updates

New or modified content from GTM Buddy appears in SiftHub within 30 minutes.

Updates include:

  • New files or content added to connected folders.
  • Content changes within existing files.
  • Deletions or archiving of content, which are automatically removed from SiftHub results.

 

GTM Buddy Connector Setup

To enable this Connector, you will need to obtain an API Key from your GTM Buddy Customer Success Manager and share it with your SiftHub Customer Success Manager. You will also specify which folders to connect.

Time to complete: Approximately 5 minutes for user steps, with activation by SiftHub CSM within 24 hours.

Connection Requirements: Ensure you have the following access and permissions before you begin the setup, or contact the respective administrator for the same.

  • GTM Buddy Customer Success Manager access: To generate the API Key.
  • SiftHub Admin or Account Owner role: To activate the Connector from the SiftHub Web App > Connectors > Apps page.

The process for setting up the GTM Buddy connector includes the following main steps:

  1. Obtain Your API Key
  2. Activate GTM Buddy Connector

 

Step 1. Obtain Your API Key

Follow these steps in order to obtain your API Key:

  1. Contact your GTM Buddy Customer Success Manager (CSM) to request an API key for your account.
  2. Your GTM Buddy CSM will provide you with the unique API key.
  3. Securely share this API key with your SiftHub Customer Success Manager to initiate the connection.

 

Step 2. Activate GTM Buddy Connector

After obtaining your API key, you will work with your SiftHub Customer Success Manager to activate the connector and configure which GTM Buddy folders are connected.

What you can connect:

SiftHub allows you to connect specific folders from your GTM Buddy library for a tailored integration.

  • Select individual folders: Provide the direct URLs of the specific folders you wish to connect from your GTM Buddy library.

How to Proceed:

Share the folder URLs with your SiftHub Customer Success Manager. Include all folders you wish to connect.

Example URL format:
https://<your subdomain>.gtmbuddy.io/library/<folderId1>
https://<your subdomain>.gtmbuddy.io/library/<folderId2>

User Access Options:

By default, the GTM Buddy Connector operates with Open Access:

  • Open Access: Grants all SiftHub users in your organization access to the connected GTM Buddy folders, allowing for broad knowledge sharing.

Time to activation:

Once you provide the API key and folder URLs to your SiftHub Customer Success Manager, your GTM Buddy connector will be activated within approximately 24 hours.
