Fireflies.ai Connector

Fireflies.ai captures, transcribes, and analyzes your meeting conversations, turning them into a goldmine of information. The SiftHub Fireflies.ai Connector seamlessly integrates this rich conversational knowledge directly into your SiftHub Platform and transforms every recorded call and transcript into a dynamic, searchable knowledge source, ensuring that valuable insights from customer conversations are always discoverable and leveraged for accurate, AI-powered responses.

What Gets Connected

SiftHub ensures you maintain complete control over what content gets indexed. You can selectively connect:

  • All Meeting Transcripts: Index all available meeting transcripts in your Fireflies.ai account.
  • Specific Users’ Meeting Transcripts: Index meeting transcripts from specific or individual users within your Fireflies.ai account.

Supported Content

SiftHub indexes the following content from your connected Fireflies.ai calls:

  • Meeting Transcripts: Complete, AI-generated plain text versions of the audio from your Fireflies.ai meetings.

Access Control

SiftHub respects the access control settings you choose for your Fireflies.ai content, ensuring users only see what they're permitted to.

  • Open Access: All SiftHub users in your organization can view and access meeting transcripts from all connected Fireflies.ai users.
  • Participant Access: Users can only access meeting transcripts for meetings they participated in (as a Host or Participant), maintaining privacy and limiting access to relevant conversations.

Using Fireflies.ai Content in SiftHub

Once connected, your Fireflies.ai content seamlessly appears in your SiftHub workspace:

  • In search results with relevant snippets and metadata.
  • As verifiable sources for AI-generated Answers and document Autofill.
  • Within AI Teammate for comprehensive call analysis, dynamic battlecard creation, and crafting targeted narratives for objection handling, discovery call prep, and more.

Note: Clicking any result opens the original call recording and transcript within Fireflies.ai.

Content Updates

New or modified content from Fireflies.ai appears in SiftHub within an hour. Updates include:

  • New call recording transcripts
  • Deletions

Deleted or archived content is automatically removed from SiftHub results.

Fireflies.ai Connector Setup

To enable this Connector, you will need to generate a Fireflies.ai API Key and share it with your SiftHub Customer Success Manager. Ensure you are the account Admin of your Fireflies account before you begin the setup, or contact the Admin for the same.

Step 1. Obtain Your API Key

Follow these steps in order to obtain your API Key:

  1. Log in to your account at fireflies.ai.
  2. Navigate to the Integrations section in the left-hand menu.
  3. Click on the Fireflies API integration (it may be listed under "My Integrations" or in the main integrations list).



 

  1. Click on Get API Key.



 

  1. Click Copy to copy your API key.

  1. Securely share this API Key with your SiftHub Customer Success Manager to initiate the connection.

Step 2. Activate Fireflies.ai Connector

After obtaining your API key, you will work with your SiftHub Customer Success Manager to activate the connector and configure which Fireflies.ai content is connected.

What you can connect: 

SiftHub provides the capability to connect Fireflies.ai call transcripts at various levels. Choose one of the following options and provide the required information to your SiftHub Customer Success Manager:

  • Option 1: Connect All meetings 
    • SiftHub will connect and index all transcripts available via the provided API key.
  • Option 2: Connect only specific users’ meetings 
    • Provide the email IDs of the users whose calls you wish to connect. SiftHub will connect all the meetings that the provided users were a host or participant of (subject to API access).

User Access Options:

 Choose one of the following access control options that you wish to configure, and share the details with your SiftHub CSM.

  • Open Access: All SiftHub users in your organization can view and access meeting transcripts from all connected Fireflies.ai users.
  • Participant Access: Users can only access meeting transcripts for calls they participated in (as a Host or Participant), maintaining privacy and limiting access to relevant conversations.

Time to activation: Once you provide the API key and the list of teams/users to your SiftHub Customer Success Manager, your Fireflies.ai connector will be activated within approximately 24 hours.
