The Q&As page in the SiftHub Web App provides comprehensive tools for organizing and managing your Q&A repository. You can search through Q&As, apply filters, perform bulk updates, and maintain content quality through review workflows.
The Q&A List View
When you navigate to Repository > Q&As in the left sidebar, you'll see the Q&A List View displaying all Q&As in your repository. Each entry shows key information including the question, answer, status, owner, last modified and linked collections.
Finding Q&As
The Q&A List View offers multiple ways to locate specific content:
Search: Enter keywords or phrases in the search bar to search through questions and answers
Filter: Filter options narrow down your results using multiple filters:
- Owner: Filter by Q&A owner(s)
- Status: Show Q&As by status (Draft, In Review, Published, etc.)
- Reviewer: Filter by assigned reviewer
- Categories: Filter by assigned categories
- Collections: Show Q&As linked to specific collections
- Tags: Filter by assigned tags
- Last Modified: Select a date range
Sort: You can also sort the Q&A pairs by the same criteria to find and organize them based on your preferences.
Individual and Bulk Updates
Save time by managing multiple Q&As simultaneously. Select one or more Q&As using the checkboxes to enable bulk actions at the top of the list.
Update Status
Click the "Update status" dropdown to:
- Move Q&As to different statuses (Draft, In Review, Published, etc.)
- Assign or change reviewers for selected Q&As
- Only status changes allowed by your role permissions will be available
Update Collections
Click the "Update collections" dropdown to:
- Link to Collections: Add selected Q&As to one or more Collections
- Delink from Collections: Remove selected Q&As from their current Collections
Note: Collections with "Link All" enabled will not appear in the bulk update options
Delete Q&As
To delete one or multiple Q&As:
- Select the Q&A(s) using checkboxes
- Click the delete icon in the top actions bar
- Confirm deletion in the confirmation modal
Note: Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Instead mark the Q&A as Inactive to avoid losing information.

Viewing and Editing Q&As
Click on a Q&A to open its detail view where you can edit and review all aspects of the content.
Core Content
Edit the main question text, alternative questions, and the answer content. The rich text editor allows formatting to create well-structured, readable answers.
Note: Any change in the question or answer will automatically move the Q&A to the Draft status. Users will have to re-publish the Q&A or submit it for review.
Status
Change the status to one of the following: Draft, In Review, Published, Expired, Inactive as per your allowed role permissions.

Metadata
The right sidebar contains all metadata fields which can be edited based on role permissions:
- Owner: Change the owner of the Q&A pair.
- Reviewer: Assign or update the reviewer.
- Category: Select a different category from the dropdown.
- Tags: Add or edit tags for better categorization.
- Collections: Update the collections the Q&A pair belongs to.
- Industry: Choose the applicable industry for the Q&A pair.
- Origin date and last modified information (view only)
