SiftHub's review workflow ensures content quality by requiring Q&As to be validated before they can be used in answer generation. The workflow helps maintain accuracy and consistency across your knowledge base.
Only Published Q&As will show in Search results, AI-generated Answers and Autofill in SiftHub.
1. Starting the Review Process
You can initiate a review in three ways:
- Complete the Q&A content and metadata
- Change the status to "In Review"
- Select a reviewer from users with review permissions
- Save the Q&A
- Select one or more Q&As using checkboxes
- Click "Update status" and choose "In Review"
- Assign reviewer

- Change the status of the Q&A to "In Review"

2. Review Notifications
When a Q&A is assigned for review:
- The reviewer receives an email notification
- The notification includes Q&A details and a direct link to the Q&A
3. Conducting Reviews
Reviewers can:
- Access Q&As from email notifications or the Q&A list
- Review question, answer, and all metadata
- Make necessary edits and improvements
- Change the Q&A status
4. Status Changes
After review, the Q&A can be:
- Published: Ready for use in answer generation
- Sent back to Draft: Needs further updates
- Marked as Inactive: Content temporarily unavailable
- Marked as Expired: Content needs updating
Access Control
Only users with the appropriate permissions (e.g., Admins) can change a Q&A's status to Published. If a user does not have permission, the Published status will appear locked.
