Convert SiftHub's AI-generated answers into reusable Q&A pairs directly from the SiftHub Browser Extension or Microsoft Add-in. This feature helps capture valuable responses and grow your knowledge repository efficiently.
Converting Generated Answers
When you receive a particularly useful response through SiftHub's AI generation, you can save it to your Q&A repository for future use. For an Answer generated in the Copilot tab of the Browser Extension or Microsoft Add-in, look for the "Save answer to Q&A repository" button below the generated content.
Clicking this button opens a new browser tab with the Q&A creation form, automatically populated with:
- The original question
- The generated answer
- Relevant context and metadata
- Smart duplicate suggestion, if a similar Q&A exists in the repository
Customizing Before Saving
The pre-filled Q&A creation form allows you to refine the content before saving. Take a moment to:
Improve Question and Answer
- Edit the question text for clarity
- Add alternative question phrasings
- Modify the answer content as needed
- Apply rich text formatting for better readability
Configure Metadata
Make your Q&A discoverable by setting appropriate:
- Categories and tags
- Collections
- Industry assignments
- Origin date
Review and Publish
New Q&As created from generated answers follow the standard review workflow to ensure quality. The process is straightforward:
- The Q&A automatically starts in Draft status
- When ready, assign a reviewer for content validation
- After review, users with appropriate permissions can publish the Q&A
- Remember that only published Q&As will appear in search results and be used for future answer generation.
